Who We Are
Meet our founder
Stephen McCord is a marketing professional with more than thirty years of experience in developing award-winning campaigns in the music industry. To date, he’s been associated with projects that have generated over 200 million album sales. He’s worked with country superstars George Strait, Dolly Parton, Beatles producer Sir George Martin, The Mavericks, Jimmy Buffett, and Bruce Springsteen. As an artist manager, he guided the careers of film actor Waylon Payne and 2014 Grammy winner Rodney Crowell.
As an educator, McCord designed SAE’s (School of Audio Engineering) first-ever music business program and served as its inaugural program chair, where he continues to teach as an adjunct professor.
In 2017, he created B Presents, LLC., a live-event consultant agency, with an emphasis on utilizing sustainable energy to power music festivals and live events. Festival clients include Burning Man, Bonnaroo, Aquatseli, Nashville Pride, Merlefest, and Get Off The Grid.
As a business development partner with Footprint Project, McCord also volunteers his time to serve communities in crisis during natural disaster recovery missions. Between disasters, McCord works with Footprint to coordinate educational and “build power” workshops for communities seeking more sustainable energy solutions.
McCord is a three-time winner of Music Row magazine’s “Marketing Achievement” award, two-time winner of Universal Music Group’s “Idea of the Year,” earned three Gold “Remington” Awards as a film documentary producer, and was once married by soul legend, the great Reverend Al Green.
